Private helicopter access to the British Grand Prix, designed to avoid race-day traffic and bring guests closer to the heart of the action.
Race weekends require precision. The British Grand Prix is one of the most anticipated moments in the motorsport calendar, and road access to Silverstone can become highly congested during peak arrival and departure windows. For guests who value time, privacy and a more composed event experience, helicopter transfer offers one of the most effective ways to arrive.
Our Race-Day Helicopter Transfers to Silverstone service is designed for private guests, motorsport enthusiasts, VIP clients, corporate hosts, sponsor groups and families attending the British Grand Prix. The journey can be arranged as a dedicated helicopter charter, a scheduled shuttle solution, or a tailored race-day movement shaped around the guest’s location, group size and preferred arrival time.
The Experience
A helicopter transfer allows guests to avoid the usual pressure of race-day traffic and reach Silverstone with greater ease. The experience is particularly valuable for clients whose day is built around hospitality access, paddock timing, private hosting, meetings, family schedules or a carefully planned motorsport weekend.
For the British Grand Prix, helicopter shuttle options are available over the race weekend, with a park-and-fly format from Turweston Aerodrome directly to Silverstone. Private helicopter charter can also be arranged with collection from another suitable location, subject to landing permissions, weather, routing and operational feasibility.
The result is a more fluid approach to the event: less time in road traffic, more control over timing and a more refined arrival into the atmosphere of British motorsport.
Fleet
Aircraft are selected according to the route, number of passengers, luggage, landing permissions and availability.
The service draws on access to an extensive helicopter network, allowing each request to be matched with the most suitable aircraft for the mission. Depending on the flight profile, options may include helicopters configured for private passenger transfers, event access, short-distance shuttles and race-day movements from regional departure points.
The final aircraft recommendation is based on practical criteria: passenger number, departure point, flight time, comfort requirements, weather conditions, landing site capability and any event-specific operational restrictions.

Exclusive Elite Travel Perspective
For Exclusive Elite Travel clients, a helicopter transfer to Silverstone is a precise event-access solution. It is suited to guests who want the day to retain its rhythm, from departure to hospitality arrival, from race atmosphere to return flight.
The value lies in planning: the right departure point, the right helicopter, the right timings and the right coordination with the wider event itinerary. Each detail is considered in advance, so the transfer becomes part of the experience rather than a logistical interruption.
A race-day helicopter request begins with the date, departure location, number of passengers and hospitality schedule. From there, aircraft suitability, routing, permissions and timing can be aligned with discretion.
