A full-day intensive Formula driving course at the Catalunya circuit near Barcelona. Throughout the training and beyond, you will be accompanied by Tomas Enge, a former Formula 1 driver. A lifetime experience complemented by stylish accommodation and gourmet dinners.
Drive a Real Formula 1
You have a unique opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car that raced under the Prost Grand Prix team between 1997 and 2001. The basic package includes a total of five laps in a Formula 1 car powered by a Cosworth HB V8 3.5L engine, delivering 650 horsepower at 12,000 RPM. Before getting into the Formula 1 car, you will undergo detailed training and complete two 15-minute stints in a Formula Renault 2.0.
Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya
Experience this iconic circuit with over 30 years of history firsthand. It has hosted the F1 Grand Prix since 1991 and has witnessed legendary drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, and many others.
You Will Be Coached by Tomas Enge
Racing driver Tomas Enge is still the only Czech to have competed in Formula 1’s Grand Prix series. The Formula 1 car you will be driving is the same one in which Tomas raced his final season’s three Grand Prix. He will share the best of his extensive driving experience with you. Additionally, you will have the chance to dine with him twice and get to know him better.
Stylish Accommodation & Gourmet Dinner
You will be accommodated in a five-star hotel in the heart of Barcelona. This sophisticated stay places you close to the city’s historic landmarks and attractions, such as La Rambla, the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, and the Picasso Museum.
Your experience will be further enriched by exquisite Spanish cuisine, featuring fresh seafood and traditional tapas.
Day-by-Day Programme
- Day 1 | Arrival, meet & greet – Upon arrival, transfer from airport to your hotel in the historic center. At 7 p.m., the program begins with a welcome and joint dinner at a famous restaurant in the city center. Overnight stay at the five-star Serras Hotel.
- Day 2 | Formula training at the Circuit de Catalunya –
- 07:00 – Breakfast, transfer to circuit
- 07:45 – Arrival, welcome in the pits, detailed briefing on techniques & safety
- 09:00 – Circuit tour by minibus
- 09:30 – Briefing & preparation for Formula Renault, dressing in racing overalls
- 10:30 – Two 15-minute stints in Formula Renault
- 12:00 – Lunch at the circuit
- 13:30 – Briefing for Formula 1 car
- 14:00 – Drive in Formula 1 car (5 laps per participant)
- 16:30 – Certificates & farewell
- 17:00 – Return transfer
- 17:45 – Aperitif, canapés, preparation for evening
- 19:30 – Tapas-style dinner followed by a city tour & bar visits
Overnight stay at the five-star Serras Hotel.
- Day 3 | Departure or extension of stay – Departure according to your plans, or extension of stay in Barcelona.
