Expedition Lapland
16.–20. & 22.–26. March 2026
Snowmobile expedition in Lapland is a five-day polar adventure designed for active explorers. In Sweden, Norway, and Finland, you will cover more than 500 kilometers on snowmobiles. Awaiting you are untouched Nordic landscapes, endless snowy plains, vast forests, and frozen lakes.
Pristine Nature and Great Fellowship
Lapland means freedom. Endless unspoiled nature, where you might go the whole day without seeing a single human dwelling. Instead, you are more likely to encounter a reindeer or a moose along the way.
The expedition is of moderate physical difficulty and is also suitable for participants without prior experience. Experienced local guides will teach you how to handle the snowmobile and will look after your safety throughout the journey.
Lapland Accommodation and Cuisine
You will stay in the best possible accommodations in the region. While not luxurious, the lodgings are comfortable and modern, including cabins, Swedish-style huts, and mountain lodges. All accommodations feature a sauna.
Hearty breakfasts and excellent dinners are served at the lodgings. Lunches are prepared outdoors over an open fire, following Lapland traditions. You’ll even have the chance to catch your own lunch by fishing.
Dog Sledding
Another highlight is a one-hour ride on a dog sled. Well-trained dogs, guided by their professional musher, will take you through the snowy landscape and answer your questions about mushing, a tradition with a long history in Lapland.
Visit to the Ice Hotel
The Ice Hotel is a unique work of art and architecture, built every year from ice and snow from the Torne River. This fascinating structure changes its design annually, thanks to artists from around the world. You will visit the hotel and enjoy a welcome drink served in an ice glass.
Northern Lights
Watching the Northern Lights is an experience that is hard to put into words. It’s a spectacular light show, dancing across the sky in shades of green, purple, blue, and pink.
The timing of the expedition has been carefully chosen to maximize the likelihood that you will witness this breathtaking display in person.
Why to Experience It
Do you like mountains and snow, are you a real adventurer? Then read on.
Immediately after your arrival in Kiruna, which is located above the northern Arctic Circle, we will equip you with a winter-resistant overall and the entire necessary equipment and place you on the sled by sled dogs. They will take you to Icehotel, where you will stay. You can relax in a wood heated sauna and have a gourmet dinner. That’s just the beginning.
Who Is It Suited For
The event is suited for everyone. Women, men, even without previous experience with snowmobiles or motorbikes.
Experienced guides will teach you everything, take care of your safety. Despite the maximum speed of the snowmobiles exceeding 100 km/h, the average speed in the field is significantly lower. No one has to worry about the driving portion.
The weather in this term is ideal; Sunshine, temperature 0 to –10 Celsius degrees and rarely snowing. Thanks to our clothes and accommodation you will have maximum comfort.
