A private alpine residence in Domaine de Bellecôte, moments from the piste and quietly attuned to the rhythm of Courchevel 1850.
Set within the private hamlet of Domaine de Bellecôte, Carat offers a discreet interpretation of alpine luxury in one of Courchevel 1850’s most sought-after addresses. Just 100 metres from the Bellecôte piste, the residence gives guests immediate access to the slopes and to the wider Les Trois Vallées ski area — the largest lift-connected ski domain in the world.
Arranged across three floors, Carat sleeps up to eight guests in four individually styled bedrooms. Its language is intimate rather than theatrical: warm timber interiors, marble bathrooms, soft neutral tones and a sense of architectural calm shaped for families or small private groups who value privacy, ease and proximity.
The upper floor is dedicated to open-plan living, with vaulted ceilings, a central fireplace and generous lounge space framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and mountain views. A dining nook with banquette seating sits beside the fully equipped kitchen, creating a natural setting for slow breakfasts, informal dinners and evenings held close to the fire.
On the lower levels, Carat reveals its quieter indulgences: a private wellness area with indoor swimming pool, sauna and spa bar; a velvet-walled cinema room for post-ski evenings; a ski room with heated boot warmers; a wine cave; laundry facilities and underground parking.
Its value lies in proportion. Carat is not a chalet of spectacle, but a private mountain address where the day moves naturally between skiing, recovery, conversation and stillness. In Courchevel 1850 — a resort defined by world-class skiing, Michelin-starred dining and a highly cultivated alpine social life — this kind of privacy is its own form of access.
Daily continental breakfast, with eggs cooked to order, and in-resort driver service from 08:00 to 20:00, Sunday to Friday, support the stay without disturbing its residential character.
Carat is best suited to families, private groups, collectors of alpine addresses and travellers who prefer Courchevel at its most composed: close to the piste, close to the village, yet held within the discretion of Bellecôte.
A stay here should be shaped with precision, the right week, the right ski rhythm, the right dining reservations, and enough unstructured time to let the mountain set the pace.
