Great White Shark Cage Diving
Great white sharks have always fascinated people.
Perhaps it is their imposing size, their graceful beauty, perfectly adapted to their natural environment, patrolling our oceans since the dawn of time. Or their powerful predatory behavior that instills pure fear in our hearts. Or perhaps the mysteries surrounding this spectacular shark draw us closer and closer.

A TYPICAL DAY OF DIVING WITH SHARKS
Here is what a typical day of diving with sharks looks like:
- We meet early in the morning
- You can have breakfast while chatting with us and we give you instructions
- We board the boat and head to the shark site
- We wait for the sharks to appear
The trip from the dock to the shark site takes about 10 minutes and is not at all tiring.
In fact, Mossel Bay has the most accessible sharks in the world!
The bay is also very sheltered, and sailing conditions are usually very comfortable. The crew will brief you on the boat regarding the dive cage.
To find sharks, we need to bait them with natural marine products. It is forbidden to use anything that is not natural. It may take a few minutes or a few hours for the first shark to appear. Although we enjoy a high success rate, this is not guaranteed. Once the sharks are near the boat, the cage will be lowered into the water and we will begin the dive. For those who do not dive, it is still an interesting experience because the shark stays very close to the surface of the water and you will have the opportunity to capture it on camera.
This is not a shark film, so we take every precaution not to hit or injure the sharks.
This experience usually lasts about 4 hours, during which time we provide lunch, snacks, and drinks on the boat.
We encourage you to talk to the staff on the boat and ask them all your questions, as they are best placed to answer them!
At the end, you will receive a certificate of participation for this unforgettable experience!
