Start your day by discovering one of the most famous Parisian neighborhoods – Montmartre, which has lost none of the rural atmosphere that attracted so many artists in the 19th and 20th centuries (Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh, Picasso). Continue with a visit to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a masterpiece of grace and grandeur built at the end of the 19th century and dedicated to the heart of Christ.
Continue to the charming Place du Tertre, with its small, typically French cafés, street artists, and the special atmosphere of times gone by. We end with the Montmartre Museum, built in the 17th century and the oldest building in Montmartre! Over the years, many famous artists, such as Renoir, Utrillo, and Valadon, have lived on this property and worked in the studio there. Free lunch included in the tour.
Afternoon: Musée d’Orsay + Arc de Triomphe at sunset
Visit the Musée d’Orsay with your guide—internationally renowned for its rich collection of Impressionist art, it also exhibits all Western artistic creation from 1848 to 1914.
After this tour of the museum, continue to the Arc de Triomphe and climb to the top. You will enjoy one of the most iconic and beautiful views of Paris!
