Platte Island: Romance vs Family
A Romance Story Unfolds, Immersed in the Natural Wonders of the Indian Ocean
At Waldorf Astoria Platte Island, romance is designed to be highly personalised, with a selection of curated experiences that guests can choose from and tailor throughout their stay.
From the moment guests land on the private airstrip, they are welcomed by their Personal Concierge that will personalise every detail of their stay, with experiences designed to celebrate romance and unique moments.
Days can be shaped around shared discovery or quiet retreat. Couples might opt for a floating breakfast served privately in their villa garden, restorative in-villa bath rituals featuring locally inspired ingredients, or a beach picnic set along the shoreline at sunset. A private photography session offers the opportunity to capture time together across the island’s most scenic backdrops, while the spa provides tailored couple’s rituals designed to restore balance and connection through bespoke treatments.
As the day draws to a close, guests can enjoy sunset views while sipping on a signature cocktail at Lalin, stargazing on the island’s runway beneath clear, uninterrupted skies, with the option to elevate the experience with private dining or delight their palates with culinary journeys in one of Resort’s unique restaurants, whether with Latino-Creole cuisine at Maison Des Epices or island’s soil-to-soul concept at Moulin.
